Relive the past at Bracara Augusta. Braga back 2000 years, which included time in the Roman Empire, referring to the daily city-capital of the province of Gallaecia.

In these celebrations, which arise each year in early June, is a recreated Roman market which is the scene of circus arts, dramatic representations, military simulations, mythological personifications, juggling, dancing and musical interpretations of time Bracara Augusta.

This trip also includes time in the organization of a Roman school, an area of traditional animation and children's receipt to the emperor Augustus, which proceeds to read the edict founder and the appointment of the administrator of the city. On the day of opening there is the magnificent Roman Cortejo the streets of the historic city center.
